Eruption!

We have been learning about the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. We are writing recounts using powerful vocabulary to describe
the disaster.

  2. As the summit of the giant peaceful protector screamed at Pompeii, with a devastating shriek of furry; it engulfed them with red hot ash, the beautiful city was no more than 6 meters of ash. The lives of innocent citizens were lost in mere darkness!

  3. As the volcano grew blacker and denser , every second. There were people colliding , in the middle of collecting their loved belongings running for dear life .They didn't know what was coming for them it was an unbearable tragedy !

  4. The eruption caused havoc in Pompeii and Herculania as they ran for their lives.
    Nobody escaped. Mount Vesuvius is currently dormant . When it does erupt again hopefully no lives will be lost.

  5. On A.D 79 August 24 everyone entered a voyage into the disaster area ,as the glass lamps clinked and crumbled to the floor with a sudden ROAR!!! Innocent lives tremoured in devastation as the summit of the peaceful protector turned into a monstrosity of destruction, with its primary weapon... unstoppable force !!!

  7. On 24th August AD 79 a rumbling volcano exploded and covered the city of Pompeii with black and grey ash, making the citizens of Pompeii run for their lives.

  8. Ash and gasping for breath as they stumbled.

    At around 1pm Vesuvius expelled a huge column of gas and ash at that rose up to 17 miles.

  9. In the stunning city of Pompeii a mild rumbling shook the floor, then darkness reached over Pompeii. Everyone fell silent . Mount Vesuvius erupted with a mighty roar. Board sheets of leaping flames glared thought the darkness...

  12. On 24 of August AD 79, something was rumbling it sounded like an volcano that was erupting. Mount Everest made all the doors creak and the Hanging -Lamps smashed as the rumbling ornaments crashed. I was frightened.

  14. On 24 of august Ad 79 tragedy struck Pompeii. When Mount Vesuvius Roared. There was an early warning but people just carried on with there life they were us to rumblings of the earth BUT THEN POMPEII ERUPTED!

  15. On the date of 24 August AD79, the beautiful city was left no more than broken buildings and rubble. There were no survivors left back after the guardian screamed out hot molten lava among this once peaceful city. The earth began tremor and lots of families crowded together in a serious manner and the damage grew bigger and bigger, creating mass destruction, relatives reunited to try to defend each other in this terrible debris, everyone panicked.

  16. Tragedy hit Pompeii and Hurculaneum when mount Vesuvius , their former guardian erupted. Leaping flames crashed into the crowded cities. As an unbearable heat wave killed hundreds of thousands of people. Then the ash and debis coved Pompeii and left a thick layer but now all that is fogoten .

  20. The first warning signs began at 6pm yesterday evening, when a tower of black smoke was spotted over the volcano. The deadly mountain roared like a dinosaur in combat, spitting out ash and rocks all over the city of Pompeii.

  23. My mom was going on all about the assembly. At lunch two girls were going on all about it. I asked which one was the best, Palmer's or Hall's assembly, and they said Team Palmer's.
